CLIVE AND DIANE HADDOW ON THE MOVE

1ST STOP YAMBA

Well been in Yamba for 6 days now – Please remind me never to come and live here – loved the place the first two visits but it seems to be a real catchment for the rain. We have had rain now for 6 days – I can’t remember that ever happening on the Gold Coast. We where due to go to Maclean to play golf  today but it has been raining solidly since 6am this morning. Bloodly annoying. Being in a caravan is great but when you have days like today – well…lets say your options are limited. Just had some new people move in on the site next door. You know that uneasy feeling you get about people …….well looking forward to leaving on Wed – only one more night.

  1. Hi Clive and Di – Sounds like you have really got your life(ves) in order. Will have to take some lessons!! – Hope you have a great trip. At least I get some vicarious pleasure reading your blog. Liz and I (more I !!!) have just bought an off-road camper – Have had one trip to Denmark + wineries etc and a new chocolate place – Chocolate Lounge but may have to upgrade into a more comfortable caravan. Take care and enjoy

    • Hey Brent,
Nice to see you visited our site.
We are still in Sawtell but leave for South West Rocks on Monday for a week before going down to Port Macquarie to do a house sit for 2 months. Then we go back up to Yeppoon for 2 Months house sit, then Gympie for a month and then over to the York Penisula in South Australia to do a house sit for a month before heading over to see Boyd and You guys.
We are currently looking for a house sit in Perth so that we can give Boyd and Lauren a hand for a period of time. Di is also thinking of going across sometime in April/May while we are doing the house sit.
      Regards
      Clive and Diane Haddow
